I find most “About Me” pages on the web a bit, well, boring. However, since this is a site about my trials and tribulations as a single dad, I guess I should write something down. So, here goes, and please forgive me if you find it boring. I don’t blame you.

I was married, we had a son, and now I’m divorced. I share custody of my son, Spencer, with my ex-wife. However, I find that it is still tough trying to raise Spencer to be a good person. The weeks that he is living with me I try to instill good values and guide him to grow into a self-confident man. Not an easy task considering I am still fighting my own childish demons and trying to get laid at the same time.

When I searched on the internet for some help, I found most of the parenting sites are directed towards mothers. A few, such as www.singledad.com, were okay, but most men’s sites are loaded with pictures of half- or fully naked women. I visit those sites, but they don’t provide me any consolation when trying to figure out how to stop my son from crying because someone called him a name he didn’t like.

Nubze.com is simply me sharing the stories of what I go through trying to lead a single man’s life with the addition of trying to raise a happy and well-balanced son. I’ve included some of the things I found to help and some of the things that don’t. I hope you find both beneficial.
